Account & your data

Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Účtenka account anytime. Once deleted, access to the app ends and all your data is removed from our servers irrecoverably.

In the app (recommended, instant)

The fastest path. Just a few taps in the app itself.

  1. Open the Účtenka app.
  2. In the hamburger menu (top-left) tap Profile.
  3. Scroll down to the red Delete account permanently button.
  4. Confirm and (if biometric sign-in is on) authenticate with fingerprint or face.
  5. Your account and all data are deactivated immediately and physically deleted from all systems within 30 days.

By e-mail (if you can't access the app)

If for any reason you can't get into the app (lost phone, technical issue), write us.

Body

A short request to delete. To verify your identity, the request must come from the e-mail the account is registered to.

We process requests within 7 business days, physical deletion happens within 30 days.

What gets deleted

  • All your receipts including photos
  • Warranty and complaint records
  • AI complaint analyses
  • Profile data (name, address, phone)
  • E-mail and password (auth credentials)
  • Push tokens and trusted 2FA devices
  • Notification preferences

What stays

  • Anonymized aggregate statistics with no link to you (e.g. 'total number of receipts in the system').
  • Anonymized service logs (rotated within 30 days regardless of account deletion).

You cannot be identified from this data.

Timeline

  • immediatelyAccount is deactivated, access is gone, push notifications stop.
